Everyone
knows what happened day before yesterday.I don't have to repeat, I'm
sure most of us have felt a sense of helplessness and despair, but then
aren't we all used to these feelings? ever now and then somebody
somewhere does something so barbaric and the media gets an easy and
sensational topic to fill up their space, we all talk, feel, curse,
abuse... depending on our moods and carry on with our lives. Years back
when it all started, people got really shocked, over the years we all
have started to become numb.It takes more than a bomb blast to shock
us.But I am one of those unfortunate ones on whom no anesthetic works.
I never can go numb no matter how many times I get hurt. So I keep
thinking again and again that why, We being such a large country,
economically not bad off, large military and police force, cannot
recognize and stop these acts of mass destruction? Why we the citizens
are so engrossed in our own little lives that we cannot see what our
neighbours are up to. I am not saying that we should suspect somebody
because they belong to certain community or religion, but I wonder how
such big plans which need lot of preparation and planning go unnoticed
by everyone? Is it possible for all of us to be more vigilant and
recognize such activities and stop such misery? I would like to know.
Is there any one who can guide general public to look for things which
may suggest such activities? Obviously the government is incapable of
doing much, so I feel that the media and the people should come
together to stop such things if we want to ensure a safe future for our
children. So people put down your views on this,let us see if we can
come up with something and act up on it. Do not ignore its our lives
and future we are talking about.
